Our Spring Outdoor Soccer Season is scheduled to begin late April or early May depending on the field and weather conditions this spring.
WLYSA is committed to following the instructions of BC Soccer, ViaSport, and Provincial Health Authorities regarding Covid-19 regulations. As we approach the spring season (mid-April) we will advise all registered members by email about where the Covid-19 protocols/restrictions stand.

Anyone 12 years and older at the time of the referee clinic are eligible to become a referee. Referees are required to take and pass the online and field components of their training. WLYSA reimburses all referees for their training after refereeing games for us during the spring season. WLYSA referees are paid a set honorarium per game based on the age group they are refereeing.
If you or your player are interested in becoming a referee, please check the box during registration. WLYSA will send a follow up email with instructions to register for the referee clinics.
The WLYSA Spring Season is entirely run by volunteer coaches and assistant coaches. 2021 was a challenging year for us to find the number of volunteers needed to match the number of registrations we received. Thank you to everyone who stepped in and stepped up to make last year the season it was!
All coaches will be responsible for the following:
*NEW to 2022 Spring Season* Coaches that complete the following will receive a 30% credit toward future registrations at the end of the season for one of their player's Spring Season registration fees. For greater clarity, this rebate is only applicable to the registration of a Player who is the coach's child or a member of their immediate family.
Coaches have the option to use the WLYSA weekly coaching plans or provide their own drills for practice. We welcome all levels of experience to volunteer for our association!

For families registering more than 2 players, you are still eligible to receive the family discount for each player after the first 2 children in the same family are registered.

Online Registration is available for anyone interested in paying by CREDIT CARD or INTERACT E-TRANSFER.
A 4% non refundable Admin Fee will be applied to the registration total on Credit Card transactions.

Please note that if you are new to Ramp Interactive online registrations, you will be asked to upload a picture of each child's birth certificate into the secure system.
If you did not use your 2020 credit in 2021 - please contact Alexis (admin@wlysa.com) before registering to receive a code or for your player's account to be updated for 2022.
Offline Paper Registrations will be available soon. This option will only be available for Cash or Cheque payments, and the registration will need to be mailed to WLYSA.

KidSport Williams Lake is a group of volunteers who raise money to help athletes and families break down the financial barriers that would otherwise prevent children from participating in organized sports.
