WLYSA Two-Deep Policy

The Williams Lake Youth Soccer Association requires two-deep adult supervision at all times in order to protect the interests of both the youth and the volunteers. This means that all WLYSA volunteers, whether they are a coach, an assistant coach, a team parent, a phoning parent, or a team manager, must always have another adult with them when they are with one or more WLYSA players. The second person can be another WLYSA volunteer or a parent/guardian, but must be a person over the age of 19.

Parents/guardians should never leave their child alone with a single adult. The parents/guardians of a child in the Mini Division must remain with their child at all times. It is recommended that parents/guardians of youth players in the Senior Division and parents/guardians of players on rep teams remain with their child at all times.
